Phở. Have you heard of this food from Vietnam? It is the national dish of that country.
At first glance, for those who have never tasted this dish, you can compare it with Ràmen or Làmen but it is very different!
While Ramen has a strong broth made with wheat noodles, Phở has a super light broth and is made with rice noodles.
The base is a light broth or chicken made with spices such as ginger, cloves, fennel seed (fennel), and star anise, almost like tea. Vietnamese cuisine has a French influence and the broth is an example of this.
The broth, being very aromatic and with spices, is considered a curative and therefore it is also consumed to help cure colds and hangovers.
You can choose from several Pho options: vegetables, chicken and the most common is meat.
The types of meat you put in your soup are also optional, this time I chose the complete one that comes with slices of thin-sliced rare meat, tendons, and beef tripe.
In addition, the side dishes are also very important, chives, coriander and Thai basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeno, which you can add to your soup.
