El Gallito is a neighborhood restaurant in Seattle that sells traditional Mexican food. The dish I ordered today has three very traditional Mexican foods: (top to bottom)
▪️ Taco: tortillas are made with corn dough and are usually very simple, some type of meat, onion and cilantro. 🌮
▪️ Tamales: a corn dough very similar to pamonha (Brazilian dish) stuffed with some type of meat. 🌽
▪️ Chile Relleño: poblano pepper stuffed and covered with cheese. 🌶
▪️ Chips and salsa: very common in Mexican restaurants and there are several types of salsa. In this restaurant, chips are free and can be ordered more freely.
Mexicans also eat a lot of rice and beans like us Brazilians and they usually put cheese on top of beans.
